Get to know Sandi
Conference Hostess & Prayer Assistant
Warm. Engaging. Funny. Inspiring. Biblical. These are words that audiences have used to describe Sandi Banks’ writing and speaking ministry. Sandi is a published author and speaker.
Sandi’s published works include Anchors of Hope: Finding Peace Amidst the Storms of Life and dozens of stories for Readers Digest and Guidepost, and numerous others, by publishers including Broadman & Holman,Tyndale House, Zondervan, David C. Cook, Bethany House and Simon & Schuster.
“When we’re drowning in discouragement, a splash of humor can refresh our spirits,”Sandi says with a grin. As a captivating storyteller, she brings you into her wacky world of adventures. Language bloopers, cultural blunders, and a faulty sense of direction–plus divine encounters and the powerful lessons God taught her through it all–provide her audiences and readers with waves of encouragement, laughter and inspiration.
Raised in Colorado by her mom, a symphony harpist, Sandi grew up with a love of music, playing harp, piano, violin and guitar (and most recently, a reluctant cello.) Now living in Texas, she’s relishing her role as wife to John, and Mom and Gramma to some amazing young folks.
Sandi may greet you at the door, as she is one of this year’s hostesses. Sandi will also be available in the prayer area periodically, assisting Donna Fagerstrom. Sandi will also be taking a few appointments with those interested in devotional writing.
