Blythe Daniel is a literary agent, author, and marketer. Her agency markets books through podcasts, blogs, launch teams and traditional media, and represents books to publishers with adult non-fiction and select fiction along with several children’s fiction and non-fiction titles. Blythe has been the publicity director and marketing director for Nelson Books, now Harper Collins Christian Publishing, and has spent the last 17 years as a literary agent. The agency represents new and bestselling authors primarily in the Christian market. Blythe and her mother, Dr. Helen McIntosh, have co-authored two books: Mended: Restoring the Hearts of Mothers and Daughters (Harvest House) and I Love You Mom: Cherished Word Gifts from My Heart to Yours (Tyndale). Blythe and her daughter Calyn have written Let’s Be Friends: A Tween Devotional on Finding and Keeping Strong Friendships (Harvest House, 2023). Blythe is married and lives in Colorado with her family.

Literary agent Blythe Daniel is offering to do critiques for up to twenty attendees prior to the conference. She will read ten pages of a book proposal or manuscript, whichever you prefer, in Word format. She will provide detailed feedback with comments and recommendations for the next steps. Submissions are due before June 1, and critiques will be returned by email by June 15. The conference director will connect you to Blythe for your manuscript submission upon purchase.

15-Minute Appointments


Blythe will be taking appointments by Zoom after the conference.

Blythe is available to meet with published and unpublished writers who want feedback on a book idea or want to ask questions about the publishing process and their trajectory as a writer. Attendees may also ask what she is looking for and how agents work with authors and publishers.
